It struck me, because I’ve been thinking a lot about how our blocks sabotage our success, not only in business, but in life. In fact, the topic prompted me to host a telesummit, Sizzle to Abundance, to address how overcoming our fears and blocks and upping our inner game are the real keys to creating what we want.
What is obvious to me is at the center of any successful branding or visibility strategy is empowerment. I can teach a client to create a Facebook ad or design a logo for herself. However, if what’s going on “inside” isn’t a match for her shiny new brand assets, her business will fall flat.
A brand is built from the inside out: it starts with finding clarity of what you believe about yourself, what you stand for, and the values you hold true to be self-evident -- deep in your heart -- that inner purpose that births your gift to the world.
Once you find that clarity, you then have to align with your purpose, vision and your desire to achieve your life’s work. If you decide that you’re afraid…to speak in public…to ask for the sale…to market your services…you’re missing out on the opportunities to offer your gifts to the world, while forfeiting the world the opportunity to gain from your knowledge.
So why not make the decision to be brave instead of afraid? It’s time to take the risks that will move you forward instead of staying safe and stuck where you are?
I re-branded to The Sizzle System because I made the decision to stop playing small. I was tired of being the “best kept secret,” serving a few people at a time; I knew I was ready for something greater. I wanted to leverage my worth and my time, and I wanted to help other women do the same.
I made the decision to change. I made the decision to be courageous. I made the decision as an introvert, to allow my purpose to propel me to my life’s success, and that was greater than any fear that left me stuck.
That decision changed the trajectory of not only my business, but also my life. Now, every single day, I shine a light on my fears to expose them, only to rise above and let them go. Fear of success and the responsibility of success no longer blocks the flow of life, where creativity, opportunity, and prosperity abound.
To me, this is what it means to Sizzle to Abundance.
